K1-MET metallurgical competence center -- Research for sustainable metal production
"We provide an overview of the research activities of K1-MET in the areas of decarbonization, sustainability and digitization of the metallurgical industry. Highlights of this research are e.g. projects on battery recycling, green steel production with hydrogen, alternative use of CO2, and digital twins of industrial plants. We will also offer insights into the working methods and career paths at K1-MET."
FIELD TRIP:
Our field trip to GE Healthcare followed by a Zipfer brewery tour will take place on Tuesday, May 23rd.
